Hi all.

I am new to this site and am excited to have it as a resource.

I am repairing a friend's Marantz 2235B reciever/amp and have found that the bridge rectifier in the power supply is bad. I have looked and cannot find a replacement for it.

The schematic describes it as HD2000510. It appears to put out +- 35.6 volts. Not sure the amps.

Does anyone know how I can find a replacement OR how to properly value a hand built bridge using discreet diodes?

I'm rusty on my basic semiconductor theory....

Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

Brian

What's the power input rating?

Simply divide the Watts by volts to get the current and use a higher current bridge rectifier rated to >100V.

Would a Service Manual help you?
