Making a bluetooth remote for a Robot

We have done a project on controlling a robot using a joystick.
Now we want to replace the joystick by a bluetooth remote.
so, we want to add a bluetooth chip to our joystick. But we don't know which bluetooth chip we have to be used and how to programme that chip for our robot.

Can anyone help us in selecting a bluetooth chip for our joystick?

I have done bluetooth data transmission. I used a module from A7 Engineering. Its really easy to do it if you know the basic microcontroller programming. Be sure to learn the bluetooth basics before you attempt to do any project cos the concepts in bluetooth can be a bit complicated.

why do you copy and paste your generic replies from other threads?

Buddy,

eat the cake, dont try to count the holes.
The answer is relevent. Dont you think so. I also have posted the same reply in many bluetooth start up forums. BTW I am an expert in bluetooth.
Whew, though you were a robot at first as all your answers were pretty near identical.

You post a generic "use bluetooth" answer in almost every thread that has the word bluetooth, even two year old threads...

PS "eat the cake, don't try to count the holes" never heard that one before, not sure what you mean?

PPS that site you link to is nothing but ads, complete junk. Not one complete project anywhere to be found, simply silly descriptions and LOTS AND LOTS OF GOOGLE ADS.

Not a single project in site, just useless stuff like this.
RPC Media Server.
"This project deals with media server on Linux machine, which would stream stored media files using RTP on demand from any RTP client. MP3 audio files or video files have been taken for development. This server is capable of handling multiple client requests simultaneously. It is developed using RFC 1889."

My dear friend, Why are you so much interested in tracking my activities. I have given you enough proof that I have worked on bluetooth. Did you not see the video and picture. ?

BTW in my place there are kids who dont want to eat, so when you give them a cake they will start counting the holes in the cake instead of eating it. You are doing exactly the same.

I visited your site. Very good, an ad free site.
Now I have a business proposition for you. (admin, please forgive me). I can design embedded bluetooth kits for you. You can sell it in your site. Tell me what you need. I have a team of programmers and circuit specialists with me.

Perhaps because all you appear to do is post almost the same reply to every thread you answer?, you appear to be mostly trying to promote the advertisers in your signature file - based on a completely useless web page with no real content.

Perhaps it would be better if you removed the link in your signature?, unlike other peoples signatures it's of no relevence here and appears to be nothing but a crude advertising attempt?.

Thank you for the compliment, I did see the photo but no video.

Why don't you post some of your bluetooth examples, schematics, photos, code whatever you have to share. If you want to run a business doing design that's cool, put that in your signature and on your site. Who is your team, what have they designed?

I use the forums to cough market my kits, I also try to answer and ask questions here in the forums it's good for business and I learn new things from the forums everyday. More people have got their Inchworm kits working before I even answer the question on the forum. I also like to preview upcoming kits before they go to press, look for the Mongoose thread in the Robot forum, the poor beast has gone through dozens of changes and I think I've finally got the design done thanks to suggestions from other members. I've worked with bluetooth (1.1) ages ago, it's nice but I like ZigBee as it's cheap $20 and easy to use just like an old hayes modem XBee.

IMHO this forum is about the best I've come across, (and there are some real awful ones out there). If you're looking for students try https://www.edaboard.com There is some decent content there but the majority is often students looking for someone to do their homework assignment...

My sites not ad free, there are a small amount of google ads down the left side. They generate a small amount of income but I don't have entire pages with nothing but google ads like your site.

I take it the site is not yours? why do you have it in your signature.

It's such a sad sad site. Poor hapless newbies that happen to register looking for help.
