Looking for a solderable MMC or SD card socket, through hole or surface mount. Suggestions? Vendors?

But can't you get a hold of old/used card readers? you can unsolder all kinds of sockets from there. For a few dollars you should get one.

Here they cost 2-5$ a piece. But shipping to Canada.... a bit too much probably

Have to do some research on google to find images or datasheets of those parts though... that's what I hate about Digikey.

The WM23961TR-ND looks good, but it's a quantity order item... I'll contact molex.

What about the 478-2017-1-ND (Digi-key part number)?
