blueroomelectronics Well-Known Member Jun 11, 2007 #1 Looking for a solderable MMC or SD card socket, through hole or surface mount. Suggestions? Vendors?
bloody-orc New Member Jun 12, 2007 #2 Estonia is a bit far for you? But can't you get a hold of old/used card readers? you can unsolder all kinds of sockets from there. For a few dollars you should get one. Here they cost 2-5$ a piece. But shipping to Canada.... a bit too much probably But something from this list maybe?: https://www.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Criteria?Ref=24458&Site=US&Cat=33555286 Have to do some research on google to find images or datasheets of those parts though... that's what I hate about Digikey. blueroomelectronics Well-Known Member Jun 12, 2007 #4 The WM23961TR-ND looks good, but it's a quantity order item... I'll contact molex.
E eng1 New Member Jun 12, 2007 #5 What about the 478-2017-1-ND (Digi-key part number)? Min Qty:1, Price:5.54 $ Check the PCB layout. It looks identical, doesn't it? Datasheet
