Hi,
I have recently been thinking about EM wave reception particular in the radio sector and I came to the conclusion that I have no idea how it works.
I’m struggling to understand how the signal in the air gets applied to the circuit. Yes I know a little about antennas but I have trouble understanding how the small minute signal that it presents is fed into a circuit.
I have done some reading on FM PLL Demodulation and I think I understand how the original signal is extracted from the modulated signal. How is this modulated signal brought to the FM PLL Demodulation IC?
If you would be so kind as to share your knowledge of what happens from the reception Arial to the demodulation IC.
Thanks and Regards,
