C cutley New Member Feb 12, 2004 #1 can anybody help me on what are the best sencers to use for a line tracing robot i'm developing. The sensing part is going to be run off a 9v pp3 battery. I'v searched all over the internet and in books but don't know which to use. thanks

falleafd New Member Feb 16, 2004 #5 I think a red led can be better than an IR led on linefollowing robots. I built a robot used with red led, it worked good. You may find an old topic "mobile robot" in this forum, we did discuss much about line following a years ago.
