Brian218 New Member Oct 25, 2008 #2 The simplest way would be to use resistors of different values. Using a 555 timer circuit to turn the LEDs on/off at different rates would be another way.

You don't use a voltage divider to drive LEDs. Instead you simply limit the current with a series resistor or with a series regulated current source.
