hye me just startd doin this prgm yesterday...wrote the progrms in mikroc and did connections in pcb...bt i dono how to make the lcd work..i mean how shd i connect ?plz help

what chip are you useing? i am just starting to use the pic and i am learning LCD's there are some example programs in swordfish and in mikroc, also c18 has a lcd ibary, it might help if you said what controller u have on the lcd etc. its also worth searching the forum i found lots of good info on it

As already suggested, check my tutorials which show how to use a 16F877.
