lcd don´t write

hellow and thanks for your time!
I can´t manage to make the lcd write a single letter on the screen.
I believe the LCD is right as before correcting the program it was throwing letters and signs at random, apart I tried a second LCD and it does exactly the same thing.
As soon I correct mistakes in the program is when the LCD just pass the cursor over the entire screen without writing a single character.
The program is just trying to write "control-12" over the screen.
