LCD Character Spacing Code Help

The below code will print the character on the LCD on 1st column.

Lcd_Out(1,1,"H");

But when I use below "ShortToStr" it will show the hour number on 4th column.

ShortToStr(hours,text);
            Lcd_Out(1,1,text);

My maximum hour count will go to 99.
