This TV was inoperable when I began working on it. I began at the power supply and found several bad caps and replaced them 2 transistors were also replaced.
Now when the unit is powered up the status LED changes from red to green and and then flashes green. The screen also flashes like a failing florescent bulb. I am wondering is there an means to test if this is caused by the inverter board or the actual back-lights?
Any thoughts or observations would be welcomed.
