Keyless entry in a car

i was wondering how to design a circuit which would be able to detect a keyless entry in a car. as u guys know im making a stolen vehicle tracker. so the first step is to know if a keyless entry has been made in a vehicle. so any help guys

Just to clarify,

when you say 'keyless entry' do you mean using a remote control to unlock the car (like is commonly available) or someone breaking into the car using packing tape or similar???

ie. which are you trying to detect?
 
First you need to detect the theft of your keyless entry's remote. Then you can catch the thief before he even gets near your car. :lol:

Duh. Do you leave the remote on top of your car?
