Hi
I have this kenwood remote. Every few days it stops working. I remove the batteries for a few hours then put them back and it starts working again? Same batteries just changing to fresh batteries doesn't help . Only the removing for hours does the trick?

Would appreciate suggestions to solve

Check the reservoir capacitor inside the remote (the only 'large' electrolytic in there) hasn't gone O/C, this can cause strange battery issues.

If you have an ESR meter, you test in circuit, otherwise you need to remove it - or you could solder a similar size capacitor across it, and see if it cures the problem (just leave the back off to test it).
