H hyedenny Guest Apr 2, 2006 #2 Hi colin, The diy one on that site uses a 24c512 eeprom which has a 64Kx8 memory in an 8 pin package. The 24c1024 chip has 128Kx8 memory and is also an 8 pin chip.

colin886 New Member Apr 3, 2006 #4 Thx for repling il probably use the 24c1024 because it is the same type as the other eeprom chip!
H hyedenny Guest Apr 3, 2006 #5 Hi, Its pinout is the same too, so it's a good "drop-in" replacement.
