Is it through hole or Surface mount?

I got these "Push to ON" buttons from earphone set (to receive calls) of cell phone. So these have very short pins like SMD components. So it is 'second-hand' old parts. Can I get long pins if I bought new and same type of 'push to on' buttons? I need long pins and now designing a PCB layout, please!

Yes! I saw through hole, it is called Tactile Switches! Thank you!
 
The Maplin link is to TH versions. The ones in the somewhat blurry picture appear to be SMD versions. The pins are bent out like on SOIC chips. The pins can also be bent under the switch.
