Interrupts in Microprocessor IC-8085.....

Why is RST 7.5 edge triggered,while RST 6.5 and 5.5 r level triggered????Does it hav anythin to do wth the fact tht RST 7.5 has higher priority thn the othr 2???Please xplain....

It is the same reason they make choclate ice cream. Some people prefer edges and some people swear by levels. When they first came out the guys at Intel were making this stuff up as they went along. There was only a little bit of rhyme or reason to it.

Okkk...well hav got anothr question....why is a "vectored interrupt" called so????
