Interfacing a pic18f4550 microcontroller with a pc using visual basic

I have programmed a pic18f4550 microcontroller to get a digital output through a usb port. I need to know the step by step process to display the temperature readings from the LM35 temperature sensor on a pc. please help

What kind of USB communication you have? Is it a virtual rs232 (serial port)?

Thanks, I mean connecting the microcontroller to the PC to establish communication and be able to read the output of the mcu on the PC using USB
2.0 technology.

You had another thread with all the PIC code. So I thought you already had the USB communication working.. sorry I can't help you with that. I'm not familiar enough with the pic18f4550. I could help with the Visual Basic part though. I recommend that you use the USB as a virtual Serial Port.
