In-Line 'C' Possible?

Hi,

As far as I know it's not possible so it's a daft question. However, I did a project last year in asm that got quite long and not easy to follow by the end so I thought I would try rewriting it in C but wanted to do it piecemeal so to speak, just changing little bits at a time to C code. Any suggestions how to do it that way or must I start from scratch in C?
