im making a pc controlled robot using lpt port. interfacing with lm293d

hey i am making a pc controlled robot that is driven through lpt port.
interfacing is done through ic LM293D.
and programming with matlab.
can anyone help me with connections?
 
if you're interested, iv'e connected the remote control of an RC car to the parallel port, so i can drive my car from the arrows keys on my keyboard

i didn't use any chips, i had already made a circuit that drives relays through the LPT port and simply connected it to the remote sticks.

As for PC software, i used C#, inpout32.dll
and i also used directInput to get the quick keyboard responses
