i ordered a cy62128ev30l l-45sxa (2.3cm x 1.3cm) but it is too big for my pcb board. the size of it is the same as a hm62256alfp-10t (2cm x 1cm) and has 44 pins. ive tried looking for it in google and google shopping to no avail, it just comes up with the large size. any ideas what this chip is? so frustrating...

Page 13 of the datasheet shows the 3 available package sizes. The suffix determines the package type:

cy62128ev30l l-45sxa

Check the datasheet to determine which part number you need.

All the cy62128ev30LL are 32 pin based on datasheets. The hm62256alfp comes in 32 pin or 28 pin.
Neither seems to have a 44 pin package.

ahh, sorry i meant what im looking for is a CY62158E-TSOP44 or a CY62158ELL-45ZSXIT that is 1cm x 2cm

Your question is really unclear. First, it seemed to be you were looking for the correct type of package to fit your existing footprint. In this case, the suffix is the key – the suffix specifies the package.

Now the question seems to be that you can't find stock of a specific part. If that's your real question, go to Octopart.com and search for the part number. They have real-time stock information from most distributors and some of the second tier suppliers too.

The parts shortage is real. The first part number in your second post seems to be out of stock at many suppliers. Take a look there and see what's available.
