identifiying dot matrix

hi

my order just come yesterday

i just notice that there were some parts that has no datasheet

here is one part :

HS-2088A/BX LED Dot Matrix

1) Sizes available: 8 X 8 , 2.3"
2) Color: Red, green, yellow, blue, orange

can anyone help find the same component or internal circuit ?

Depends on the LED, diode test functions don't typically have the voltage to test LEDs. Did you see the datasheet above?

Yes, but a battery and resistor is MUCH more useful and helpful - it actually shows you whoch LED you're connected to. There seems little point in finding out which pins are connected to a completely unknown LED.
