Icl8038

I'd like to build a waveform generator using the ICL8038 function generator IC. I want it to be a fixed 24 VDC p-p square wave, 100 KHz with a 20% duty cycle. I need it to test SCR firing modules in a HF induction heater unit. Thanks

Good luck finding the ICL8038, it's been discontinued for years.

What about using a 555 timer with buffer on the output?

mouser has them

Mouser Electronics - Electronic Component Distributor has an NTE864.....a direct cross.
How about the 555 with buffer?
