HI ITS MY BOYFRIENDS BIRTHDAY COMIN UP. HES IN TO HIS DJIN AN I WAS GOIN TO GET HIM A BPM COUNTER. COULD ANYONE PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE ON WHICH ONES ARE THE BEST TO GET BUT R'NT VERY HIGH IN PRICE AM LOOKIN AT JUST UNDER 100 IF NEEDS BE PLEASE :!: :!: :!:

You should perform a google search for this. This is somewhat off topic for this forum. Now, if you want to build a BPM counter... thats another matter :)
 
A BPM Counter? What's that? Something that counts the number of beats per minute of music? That's an interesting problem...I was just thinking how you would do this. There are all the problems of when the music stops momentarily and whatever...I was thinking perhaps some vco connected to the music or something, and then sum up the voltages with another set oscillation? perhaps with a zener diode to filter irrelevant freqencies. I dunno. bit beyond me...but anyone got any ideas?
