humidistat design

I am interested in building a humidistat that will control a small fan to humidify a cigar humidor.
I would like to use a combination temp/humidity sensor. I am just learning basic electronics and can use this project for a practical purpose as well as learning. If any one has any insight to plans, parts, or advice please email to rbrinker@nisprocess.com
