If the port can drive 8 LED's, then it has to drive 8 opto's too( i am using PC817). isn't it?
But no it's not working? can anyone tell me why?
I am connecting the opto's diode in place of LED's. What could be wrong?
Anyway how much current I can source from any port pin?
As far as I know we can source and sink 20mA max at each pin.
