Hi,
I have about 3 of these kicking around and would like to use for my cctv cameras as i can run 2 cameras easily off one of these as apposed to having 6 cameras all using 6 x 1a power supplies.

What would be the best way to convert the output?
Thanks
Stuart

hi,
The image shows a 12Vout AC label, so a bridge rectifier and smoothing capacitor would be required.

This would give ,off load, a peak DC voltage on the smoothing cap of approx 15V DC.

What is the CCTV required input voltage and current, mine run from a DC supply and are rated for 9V DC thru 15V DC.???

hi, they are 12v dc and use around between .5 - 1.5amp

hi,
If they require a precise 12V at~1A, thats a problem.

To get a stable +12Vdc from a linear voltage regulator would require a +14Vdc input to the regulator, which a transformer rated at 12Vac RMS cannot supply.

You could consider a switching boost regulator, but that would be expensive.
