Hello guys,

I just measured my antenna with spectrum & vector network analyzer and used smith chart to see if my antenna is in 50 ohm range, i get these rezults:

Now I want to match my antenna, but the thing is that I don't understand how I have to write Im number in Smith V4.1, I mean I have to write -12.02 or just 12.02 in this program. ( I can't change r+jx function to real/Imag, because I used a spectrum analyzer from school)

Yes you have to used signed because your environment is both L and C
and obeys signed behaviour as impedances.

Regards, Dana.
