Hi,

I purchased Pickit3, PIC18F4520, and an I2C Graphic LCD, and installed MPLAB X IDE and XC8 compiler on my laptop.

I wanna start off a C project in which I'll have the laptop sending images to the LCD, serially (UART) via the PIC.

--Edit--

I wanna start off with the UART stage.

Could you please refer me to a C UART tutorial for PIC18 series?

Thanks!

I looked around and picked this up look at post #2.

I'm so new to this I don't know if it will help you or not, I was interested in the same thing I just don't have time right now to play with it.

Good Luck:)

Regards, kv

No Yours is a good one I just post some more links That look good I do most of my coding in basic but I really like XC8 So I just added to your post some links.

Whew, I just didn't know if I could help. Thanks for stopping in, I think I put him off when I removed 3v0's link to his Pic Discussion thread earlier. I should have left that up as well, so this thread would be more understandable.

Thanks, B8b
