can anyone tell me how to implement counter by using PIC16F877?
my spec is as following:
the PIC will detect the pulse from a sensor for a duration of 5 seconds. after that the counter will reset again and continue to count. then the output of the counter will drive the LCD module.
(1) how to set the registers in the PIC in order to use the counter function?
(2)how to obtain the output from the counter?
