a mounting base PIC18F2550, IR diode, phototransistor, 2x16 LCD display

to achieve a tachometer I need your help this is my first project
 
Hook the photosensor to the T0CK pin of the micro... Set the timer to increase on the T0ck input ( In the datasheet ) Wait 1 second and read the timer.... Calculate the speed and put it on the LCD..

We Have no idea what you know... Do you know C or basic? Can you build it? Skeletal programs for simple counters are easy to pick up on the net.... There are several in my tutorials.... I have an article on Interrupts..

Help us to help you.... Fill in the blanks.....
 
Is the OP maybe asking for a socket or a PCB?
 
hii Ian ! i have to communicate the speed information to the computer via C# but the problem i havent studied it !!
and i reaaly need more details about how to achieve this tachomter i dont have too much ideas !! please
