help regarding the datasheet for 8031 oscillator

Wrong number ???

Could that be an 8038? a sine/square/triangle oscillator IC?, a 14 pin DIL package.
The only refrence to '8031' I can find is an op-amp from Analog Devices - AD8031AN, an 8 pin DIL.
. . . (or some bizzare microprocessors :shock: P80C31SBPN and suchlike)

No 80C31 is not a factory masked version of 80C51 but its a ROM-less version of 80C51.
