Please i need help on this matter. Below are the details....

Specification

The Basketball game is divided into two halves (not NBA, they use a different set of rules). Each half consists of twenty (20) minutes. So the whole game would last forty (40) minutes, if no time out were called. When a time out is called, the Game Clock would pause. When game time of 20 minutes is reached, a buzzer would sound to indicate the end of the half or the game (if it’s the second half).

On top of that, to avoid situation where the leading team holding on to the ball and wait for the Game Clock to run down, there is a thirty second Shot Clock rule in Basketball. In other words, a team, when in possession of the ball, must shoot the ball in thirty (30) seconds time. The ball must touch the rim of the basket in order to reset the thirty- (30) second Shot Clock.

What you are required to do is to design the digital Game Clock and the thirty- (30) second Shot Clock. The specifications are as follow: -

1.1 The Game Clock should start at 20:00 (20 minutes, with seconds displayed).

1.2 When the twenty (20) minutes Game Clock counted down to 00:00 a buzzer will sound for 5 seconds, to indicate the game is ended.

1.3 At any one time, the Game Clock could be pause with a pause button.

1.4 When the Thirty- (30) Second Shot Clock counted down to 00s, the same buzzer will sound for 5 seconds to indicate a Shot Clock violation.

1.5 When the pause button is pressed, both the Game Clock and Shot Clock would pause.

1.6 The Thirty- (30) Seconds Shot Clock could be reset at any one time with a reset button. Resetting the Shot Clock, however, should not affect the Game Clock in whatsoever way. The Shot Clock should be reset to 30.

1.7 There should be, min. 1 and max. 4, set button(s) to set the Game Clock to any minutes (Maximum 20) and any seconds (Max. 59), e.g. the Game Clock should be able to set to start from 14:58.

1.8 There should be 1 or 2 set button to set the Shot Clock to start from any seconds (Max. 30), e.g. the Shot Clock should be able to start from 22 second.

1.9 The Shot Clock and Game Clock should be able to run concurrently to be considered as a fully functioning Basketball Game Clock.

1.10 To make sure that the clock would function properly, normally, there’s an initialization stage during power up of the clock (i.e. when you first switch on the clock). During initialization, Lamp Test would be performed to test the display, hence, the Game Clock would appears as 88:88, and Shot Clock, 88. After the initialization, the Game Clock would appear as 20:00, and Shot Clock, 30.
