help me on assembly programming.

I m designng a hardware on interfacing between LCD and 8051.i want a ASSEMBLY PROGRAMMING on this interfacing that should display "ISHANK THANDI".i m using LCD of 16 charactar .please help me.

Your request is far to vague to provide any meaningful help. Let us start with the specific manufacturer and part numbers for the processor and the LCD. From these we can access the datasheets. From the datasheets we can connect the 8051 to the LCD. At that point we can talk about programming.

download the 8051 datasheet , it has the required ASM instructions , study it , then get a 8051 assembler and programmer . search the net for more info
