Can anyone please tell me what is the difference between a phototransistor optocoupler and an optoisolator triac ? Can I replace phototransistor optocoupler MCT2E with optoisolator triac MOC3021 ? Thanks in advance for any help.
Optotriac have a small light-triggered triac as output, so total different as the transistor output.
Possible replacements of MCT2E: 4N25, 4N35, CNY17, TIL111 e.t.c. depending from application.
