Having problem with PORTC of ATMEGA16

Hi,

I am new to AVR MCUs I am having problem with PORTC bit0 and bit1.I am using these bits simple output but whatever I write on these bits nothing changes seems they are in floating state whereas I2C is not enabled

please tell me how to work-around

It has been resolved i was by mistake changing DDRC in somewhere i my code thanx

Additional look at the Setting of the JTAG Fuse.
When this in Enabled ( default setting ) You couldn't use some Ports of Port C.

When you'll Program the Controller via JTAG, You should leave this Fuse enabled of course.
