Futurlec PCB manufacturing

Hi, has anyone used Futurlec for PCBs?

Their cost is competitive.

just checked it and 10pcs of 8x10" doublesided boards with silkscreen and soldermask is $577.10 USD and it takes 1 week.
not bad, but I can get that in 1 week for same or slightly better price from several local shops here.

I've used Futurlec Australia for PCBs twice; the first time they forgot to send on the files to the manufacturer and it ended up taking about 6 weeks. The second time it took about a month. The overlay is low resolution and looks cheap. The boards were made in Thailand, I think. I wouldn't bother ordering from them again.

Myro http://www.myropcb.com/services-capabilities/pcb-capabilities/ are competitive and very good quality (including overlay) and fast. They have a cheaper service available if you follow their guidelines.

Silver Circuits http://www.custompcb.com/ are competitive and very good quality (including overlay) and quite fast.

Seeed Studio http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/fusion-pcb-service-p-835.html?cPath=185 is my favourite for prototypes. They are by far the cheapest I've seen. Quality is good (overlay is lower resolution if that's a problem) and they take around a week to make the boards.

Silver circuits takes Eagle fine...so I placed an order for 400 boards with em...let u know how it goes

I'm new on the forum.

PCB manufacturers normally use their own Gerber files since there are different versions being used.

Please ask your PCB manufacturer if he accepts Eagle board files, e.g. "main.brd"

gerber file format is standardized. old one was depreciated while ago and everyone uses RS-274X ("extended Gerber").

Silver circuits does a good job with Eagle
