Hello staff, I would like to help me solve the following exercise:

Three-phase motor contains:

2 pairs of poles;
380V-50Hz;
Absorbs 1750W laden;
Power Factor is 0.75;
Net power is 1500W;
Absorbs 3.55A
its speed is 1430 R.P.M.

I would appreciate the formula for solving the reactive power of the engine!

I think that you only need the input power and the power factor. The input power is 1750 W, and the power factor is 0.75

That means that the Volt-Amps is 1750 / 0.75 = 2333.333 W

The Volt-Amps is the square root of the sum of the squares of the power and the reactive power.

So 2333.333^2 = 1750^2 + [Reactive Power]^2

That makes the reactive power = 1543.354931454345 W
