Electronics retailer in US?

Hi,

I'm traveling to US for company temporary assignment soon. I would like to know what are the reliable electronics retailer in US (online retailer counted too). For now sparkfun is in my mind.

I'm thinking of getting back some good stuff (which cannot be found easily in my country), and also to avoid the expensive shipping cost.

Is it okay to bring them back together with my luggage (not for sales but for personal hobby usage, maybe ~10 items for each component)?

I asked DigiKey some weeks ago about their minimum order amount, They replied that had non.
I subsequently made several orders in the $15 - $20 range with no additional charges.
And they will ship it any way you like. Great company.

They must have changed their policy, I recall they had a handling charge or something if you didn't meet the $25 minimum. Good to know, as I like their selection better than Mouser's. Although Mouser gets me stuff overnight when I ship it regular UPS ground - they are just up the highway for me (about 3hrs drive time).
