Hi,

Qu 1 Libraries....now solved.....(libs were in "My documents" folder)
I am using the demo version of Easy PC, but cant see any components in the library, and am not able to add any in to there.
As such, i cant do the exercise in the introductory document. Do you know how to get library components loaded with the demo version?

I am trying to run through the exercise on page 11 of this document, but cant get any components onto the schematic, since i cant see any library components in the demo version of Easy PC....

OK , the libraries were put in the "my documents" folder so thats ok now

Qu 2...Schem connections...NOW SOLVED......(somehow it just started working)
The demo version wont allow schematic connections between components. It says that it cant connect as there are no net class's. Do you know how to get round this?

Easy PC doesn't sound so "easy".

Qu 3: "Allow Weld to split tracks"
The above is in the "PCB interactions" tab of Easy PC...Do you know what it means?...i control-F'd it in the manual but nothing.

Hmmm. "Weld" is often used by the Chinese when they mean solder. So perhaps this means to allow soldered jumpers when tracks can't be routed.

The term "weld" suggests this solder was written in China and is only marketed by a UK company. Basing your arguments to use this software for "national security" reasons doesn't strengthen your case.

Perhaps WE do pronounce it correctly

Hi,
If you want to learn Easy PC, there are very very few tutorial videos.
But is it the case that the Pulsonix tutorial videos are relevant because Pulsonix is the same as Easy PC, but just with more features.?

For example, is this Pulsonix tutorial about library part creation very relevant to library part creation in Easy PC?...

Maybe you should consider something more mainstream like Kicad or EasyEDA where there is more support and a user community?

Easy-PC uses Net Classes to define how connections are made (e.g., width, rules, etc.). If no net class is present or active, routing/connecting may fail.
In some cases, after setting up or loading the correct component libraries, default net classes are also loaded or initialized, resolving the issue.
