Be careful. Temperature data format is different on DS1820 (obsolete), DS18S20, and DS18B20 devices...

True, but you have to wonder if people are basing their decisions to use outdated IC's relying on old posted code/projects, or thats what they actually have on hand (ala 16f84 all over again).
