hello
I'm a newby from France on this forum.
Maybe somebody can help me out.
I'm planning to make a simple programmable drum machine with an Arduino controller.
I'm looking for a very simple transitor generator producing some drum sound,
and a white noise generator with a decay circuit to simulate the sound of cymbals.

Thanks in advance for your help !!!

Dr P,

That circuit doesn't work in a sim (didn't see how it could produce anything other than what plotted):

Hmm maybe your right cowboy.
I have built a similar circuit and it worked, either the circuit is junk or the sim doesnt take noise into account.
If you have a breadboard mr sax try it out first, not difficult to breadboard up.
