Well, we got a home theater surround sound, hooked it up, put in a dvd and the thing got dropped face down and we had to take off the back to remove the disk and the top tray (one of five) and got the disk out but the top tray is out of the player now and it won't close completely. Any suggestions?

try to upload a close up well focused photograph of of the damage details
it would help offering a solution.
most probably superglue should help

Is the DVD player a stand-alone unit? If so, it can be disassembled further to re-align the door(s). If not, then limit its future uses.

what model is it? different brands use different tray mechs, so the tray timing process is different for each one.
