dont, save ur money or get a good book on generic microcontrollers.

I got a book called Embedded Systems Design by Steve Heath, good for all round microcontroller bit and stuff like protocols and things.

No real examples, but it explains a lot of things!

Get a 16F628 and go through Nigel's *FREE* tutorials.
