Door Sensor Design Suggestions.

Here is the finished circuit.

Basically when you switch the slide switch on.. the PIR turns on and waits 60 seconds to adjust to the surroundings.

When motion is detected the relay in the PIR opens.. triggering the exterior circuit I made .. a 12f629 pic then beeps the buzzer.

Works flawlessly.

Bought 10 of these PIRs for only $50 CDN on eBay.

All the RadioShack stores that I have been in (now they are called The Source) have a RadioShack DING-DONG square-waves noise maker.

It goes DING-DONG many times all day each time a little kid goes there to steal something.
It goes DING-DONG again each time the little kids leave with their loot.
