I was wondering What Standard diodes i should get for my parts bin, i would be using diodes in microcontroller projects, relays, and some other simple projects i am just wondering what would be some good ones to stock up and have on hand

small signal 1N914, 1N4148, etc. (choose one, they are the same)
power 1N4004, 5, 6,or 7

A 1N5819 is another handy diode.

1N5819: 3A, 40V Schottky diode. Definitely for those applicatons where speed, capacitance, or voltage drop are a factor.

For example, nice for small switching power supplies.

I keep these types on hand
1N4148, 1N4001, 1N5817 (and a couple of 5.1V Zeners just in case)
