A ANUPAMA New Member Mar 26, 2004 #1 i am using pic 16f877a to control speed of dc motor with pulse width modulation . the motor works on 24Volts and drws a current of 2.0Amps. can anyone suggest which FET or MOSFET will be appropriate. i don't want to use transistors.

pike Member Mar 26, 2004 #2 why would you not want to use transistors, their much cheaper and not static sensitive. well look around, do you know how much current the motor needs, you have to also include the stall current.
