My project is to make a DC current sensing device which will sense current from 0-100 A. I want to use an IC for this project. After sensing this current, i want to give the output to an amplifier and then take the output of the amplifier to an isolation circuit to rectify noise. The output of the isolation will eventually be given to a microcontroller. Any ideas on which ICs I can use. The IC should be such that the output of the current sensing IC should be greater than the input offset voltage of the IC i am using in the amplifier circuit. I would really appreciate any kind of help on this. Cheers.
Search Digikey, Mouser or Farnell etc. for Hall sensors. Something like ACS756: https://www.digikey.fi/product-detail/en/ACS756SCA-100B-PFF-T/620-1238-ND/1829841
I think that one chip solves about all your requirements. You can connect ADC (almost) directly to the output of the sensor.. or you can build extra filtering and isolation if you want (for some reason).
