Hi everyone,
for first i'm sorry for my bad english and for my low knowloedge....

I need an help, because i have to control this motor:
D.C. PERMANENT MAGNET MOTOR
CLASS F
230 V 225 W 2150 RPM

I want to control it with a SAFE elettronic circuit, someone can help me?
Where can i search in the web for a schematics?

Thank you very much.

Safe

For "SAFE" I mean to have something that works good.
I understand that 230V DC isn't safe, but i have a 220 DC motor to control....
Do you advise a SCR driver?

Hi Jumbolino,

Do you mean a light dimmer switch?
They are for AC, you might be able to
run one through a bridge rectifier
to the motor, assuming its run from
the AC mains.
The packaging will usually say its not
meant for inductive loads, so you may
find it wont cope.

Make sure that the unit is properly
earthed, don't rely on "double
insulation".
An AC electric shock can hurt, but a
DC electric shock can 'grab' and make
it difficult to let go, so take care.

Regards, John
