Connecting a spare LCD screen

Hi

I've recently obtained a screen from an old portable DVD player & was wondering what connectors I would need to get it working. It has a 16 way ribbon but must have picked up it's power source from the player. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You need lots of the complicated electronics off the board it connected to, on it's own it's probably useless.
