Hi all,
Is it possible to use an inverter and 12V car battery continually on charge as a computer UPS. Does anyone of the esteemed forum maybe have plans to build a UPS of approx 600 - 800 Watt. My PC has 550 Watt PSU. Thank you in advance.
Typical UPS uses 12V battery. They are usually 1/4 of the capacity of the
car battery. Instead of trying to charge it from the car battery using
inverter, I would rather look into adding some terminals or plug
(and maybe sw.) so you can power inverter by external battery.
