common cathode schottkey diode

I have salvaged several of common cathode schottkey diodes in the TO220 style package and the specs say for use in PWM circuits and motor circuits.
Where would it be used on a FET H bridge or would be used there. Any schematic to look at would be nice.

Schottky diodes have limited reverse voltage capability. Most have 60 vdc breakdown. There are a few that can make it to 100 piv.

These would not likely be used on the high voltage secondary side of an inverter H-bridge.

Common use would be drain to source protection on the low voltage battery side of boost switcher.
